Anyone know of a way to create a higher resolution desktop app than 1920 x 1080? Even if I use a custom resolution that is higher in my Player settings, when I build and then launch, I only see 1920x1080 as the highest resolution in the resolution drop down.

In Player Settings you can set "Display Resolution Dialog" to "Hidden by Default".
You can set the resolution by script with Screen.SetResolution.
I think if you hide the start dialog, your resolution will stay what you set by script.

Also, the resolution drop-down should only show resolutions that are supported by your monitor / graphics card. So if your monitor can only display 1920x1080, then it won't go any higher than that.
