    looks very nice, not sure one could add bit volumetric fog, and see could get also god rays // illumination . . .

    it's a bit bland, and perhaps doesn't ' sell ' the title, or it's bit clear what the stuff is about from the intro . . . :) :eek:

    Cool thanks, it has some fog, did not want to over do it :)
    I'll consider to add a short game description in there somewhere, eg unorthodox vehicle sandbox or something like that

    it's a bit nicer, however think the design of the content should be 100 % your stuff, however the ' image ' itself perhaps isn't the best // it's nice, however it's just not clear what it is, or if the content is about driving stuff . . .

    Working on levels selector (difficulty levels,challanges etc, sets waypoints scoring levels and so forth):

    Actually some volume fog does seem to make it look a bit nicer, see below. Thanks for the info:

    Added some deforming oil drums when driving over them, thoughts?

    Progress is slow :) I guess some know the drill with games dev, I think I can see the finish line, but then......decided to work on more areas / maps, options:

    If you hurt animals you will loose points, just do not do it, avid the innocent things!:


    Adding turrets and mines, maybe some AI type NPC sharp shooters to make things difficult:


    Testing mazes to go through (will eventually be big areas to get lost easily), the walls.... do not touch or things explode, will include stuff like lazers/electric shocks, just anything to damage the vehicle:

    I would suggest polish what you got.
    Don't dive into feature creep as you won't be able to to release. You can add things later.

    You have already plenty of content.
    Nice progress :)

    Working on vehicle splash effects, would appreciate any feedback, does this look ok/good, or need changing?

    No rush for me :) I'd rather make a game I'm happy to say it is complete. I'm not even marketing it etc, just like a personal project. Would be cool to see people play it though

    Long time since any update, still slowly working on refining things.
    Once thing I'd like to ask is if these video clip hints seem useful, if you mouse hover it plays the clip on the large image part, to show various features on how to play etc:

    Oh man, keep getting side tracked with other stuff I like to do! Who said games dev is easy, I feel I'm close to the finish line but seems so far?! I wonder who else feels like that too.

    Hello,
    It's been a while, got majorly side tracked by working on a procedural wheel/tire creator (thread in WIP tools area, maybe others could benefit from this script/asset someday), here is a gameplay test video on the easiest level and just one vehicle:


    I would love to hear of any feedback, do you think it is good enough for release?

    Do you have ready some challange and campaigns?

    What is estimated game time currently.
    It is more of a sandbox right?

    Did you do steam achievements or anything like that?

    Hi, there are 5 levels, it might not sound like much but I think that could keep players busy for a while. Also, each level will be best suited to a particular vehicle type, eg the dessert go for the landyacht, or tank for rocks/mud/water etc. Plus things like rock gardens are randomly placed, so things might not always be the same. You can get extra points by looking for special spheres and driving over them, or / and loading cargo on trailer and reaching the end point give big bonus, score is higher if completed quicker. Each level gets more difficult, depending on time of day or eg which vehicle used (hovercraft will not go over rocks easy so much higher points). It can go very quick the gameplay time or long depends on if you ant to explore/mess around. So there are a lot of variables at play. I've used steam achievements before in games but not sure on this one, I'll consider that. Do you think that is a good incentive for people to play games?
    Maybe I should work on the gameplay , levels/challenges/campaigns add more.

    I think players love additional challenges.
    So you can add such mini missions.

    Nice job khos, like your work bro. How big are the levels?, the reason i ask is 5 is kinda low, i was thinking 10. Another factor to help decide is how much time does it take to complete a level?.

    Lets say the level takes 15 mins to complete, then 5 levels isnt enough (unless your looking to dev a small game). Now if the time to complete is like 30 mins+ then 5 levels aint bad at all.

    Keep up the good work, like what your doing :).

    The levels are quite big, players could be on each for a while or quick, it's like a sandbox.
