I'm trying to build a simple TCP app that communicated to a TCP server, but when i try building my application i get the "Error building Player: SystemException: 'System.Net.Sockets' are supported only with Unity Android Pro. Referenced from assembly 'Assembly-CSharp'." Yet when i look at this link: http://unity3d.com/unity/licenses it states that regular Unity should have .NET Socket Support... am I missing something? or should this be working for me? Thanks in advance

EDIT: I've seen some posts about this, but all posts seem to say they do not intend to use System.Net.Sockets, whereas i am intentionally using it

Make sure you change your player setting to .net 2.0 instead of .net 2.0 subset.

You need Android Pro to use .net sockets on Android devices, click the tab for Android and iOs on the license page and you'll see the checkmark disappear.
