Resolved System.IO.IOException: Permission denied

    I don't really understand. why is this happening? why it giving this error? I updated unity to 2021.1.10 but it is the same.

    it's happening when build the project for WebGL

    Anybody knows a solution?

    Does the file

    /Applications/Unity/PlaybackEngines/WebGLSupport/BuildTools/lib/modules/WebGLSupport_AnimationModule_Dynamic.bc

    exist? If so, what are its permissions? It looks like the IL2CPP executable cannot read that file, which is not correct.

    it is exist. How can I look at its permissions?

    You can use the command

    ls -al /Applications/Unity/PlaybackEngines/WebGLSupport/BuildTools/lib/modules/WebGLSupport_AnimationModule_Dynamic.bc

    From a terminal.

    I used the command and this is the result:

    Thanks, so that means only the root user can read that file, which seems incorrect. Can you re-install Unity?

    I don't think it will work when re-install. Because this happened before version and I updated. the result is the same

    Is Unity being installed as the root user? Please try to install it as the same user who will use it. Neither should be the root user.

    same again. Also the all platform exporting does not works because of this

    the problem is solved. it is because of file accessing. I opened the access as root, then it is solved
