switching from unity personal to unity pro

I am a newbie to unity. I have been working on unity personal edition for a while. I want to update to unity pro edition. What happens to my existing projects ? How can I access the same in unity pro?

For what reason would you be switching to pro?

 

Mainly for cloud build, splash screen etc. I got a pro license, I was just wondering if I can use my older projects in unity pro the same way?

 

Yes you can if built with the same account prior to upgrading. You cannot use someone else's Personal project.

Personal/Pro are licenses, nothing to do with the Unity app (of which there is only one; you don't "upgrade" it or anything since there's nothing to upgrade). Nothing about projects changes. Legally, you're not allowed to mix personal and pro licenses in the same team.
