SVG sprite Editor doesnt work

Hi there

i have downloaded the vector graphics support from package manager and imported an svg. It gives me the option to open the sprite editor, but the sprite editor doesnt realy work. It wont let me drag boxes around the different sprites. Is this a bug, or is there some trick to it?

Maybe someone has some experiences with it. Thank you
