    Hello,
I am trying to download the 3D Game Kit in Unity 2020.3.3f1 So I added it to my assets in a browser and then opened package manager and hit the download button for the 3D Game Kit.

Now my issue is it is of 2.16GB in size. I can't download that much in one day. So I need the support of downloading, say, 500MB one day, and then suspend it, the next day, resume it from how much download it has did yesterday.

I tried by starting the download, after a while clicked the "pause" button, closed and reopened the package manager window, and I found that then resuming it works.
But If I close the Unity Editor, it does not resume and starts from 0.0%

If Someone can tell me where is this download cache stored? So I can copy it and paste it over next day (if possible)?

Or one this more I can do is keep the Editor opened, and Hibernate Windows. Will this work?

    Please Help Me....

Are you able to leave the machine paused overnight? You mentioned you can pause/resume fine but doesn't work if you restart the machine.

And if I restart the machine, Unity the obviously get closed and when I reopen, the package manager loses the progress and there is only download button, while in hibernation, the resume button is there, but when I click on it, download fails.

Do you have the option to not have the machine hibernate and just amend your power settings to just turn off your display? Window hibernation might just be causing this.

Yes, I can connect the charger and leave my laptop overnight turned on. Sorry, but this would be impractical for me, personally. Isn't there a static link for where the .unitypackage is stored, so I can download it with pauses over a span of multiple days...

    Thanks.

I am facing a similar problem, but my 5GB download just corrupted because my laptop slept after I locked the user. I am not sure if it sleeped at all or just turned off the screen, but the user was locked and the download was stopped and did not resume. It would be nice to have an alternative way to download the .unitypackage, or if you fear a misuse of Asset Store, at least a more stable way to pause and resume download.
