Just bought the package and I can't wait to start using it. Nice work!
Thanks for purchasing! Can't wait to see what you will come up with.
Also the next update is on the way and the price will increase so this is the best time to purchase it.
CYBER WEEK MEGA SALE 50% OFF
I love that you guys did a suburb/outdoor theme on this set, but I'm also looking to build some industrial/miltary/research base scenes. Do the package currently include any modular pieces that could be used for that? Either dedicated models or generic models that I can add textures/materials? Thanks in advance.
Unfortunately other than the walls I doubt anything would fit a military or industrial building.
Check out this link to take a closer look of the assets included.
After the streets update we plan to add more assets for buildings, and we may include some for industrial.
cool thanks for the quick reply...not a deal breaker by any means, but I'd be willing to pay a comparable price for a set of industrial/military/prison-themed models.
Oh yeah: I saw somebody asked about more weapons in the comments section....I'd vote for that as well.
I just bought this package. i really like it.
I don't know if it is possible to include some prefabs for buildings. not just primitive models like, floors, walls ...
just to make my dev a bit easier.
And if it is possible in next update to add some kind of city buildings in addition to those town houses?
but in any case, fabulous jobs done your team.
Thank you for purchasing!
We had building prefabs in our earlier versions but we decided to drop them because of how nested prefabs work and the problems it causes like breaking links and assets not updating.
Our package gets constant update and the nested prefabs are not updating and it slow us down having to update each time every scene and then do this again for the 2017 version too. We will probably give up on the 5.0.0 version and stick with 2017 version only, in the next update though
As a tip, if you didn't know you can copy a house from one scene and paste it into another scene without making it a prefab and breaking the links, then you can modify it and make some variations instead of starting from scratch.
Update v3.5 is going to contain city buildings.
Here is a picture from upcoming update v3.4(submitting it today)
thanks for your prompt reply.
I am going copy some nice buildings from demo scenes.
I also hope you could provide more demo scenes in upcoming updates.
I am awaiting that 3.5 update on city buildings very happily
Update v3.4 is Live!
NEW - 179 new assets (196 prefabs)
- added Scene Neighborhood
- added 63 new textures + 2 .PSD files for traffic sign name customization
- added 71 streets (streets, sidewalks)
- added 23 street decals
- added 102 street props
Sweet update! Love the streets and decals.
I would also vote for "small-town" type city buildings for sure: police station, diner, obligatory gun shop, etc....
I know I mentioned industrial/military above, here's an idea of what I meant:
a military-style temper tent and/or trailer for an overrun/abandoned forward command post - existing props (barricades, tables, chairs, debris, etc.) should suffice.
Modular/temporary buildings for the chemical plants/suburban industry/etc. This one might need some additional props unfortunately like chemical storage bins, cargo containers, deisel/semi-trucks, etc.
Great set. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the feedback, we will keep in mind your request.
Only Unity 5.0.0 is updated for now as we mentioned above. We will submit for Unity 2017 today for review.
was about to ask where the extra updates were on 2018 xD I don't think I even have a copy of 5 to download that version of the package, I take it the 2017 version will bring some sort of optimisation of the assets themselves or is it just for the visual effects processes in the demo scenes?
The 2017.3.1 version was submitted 2 days ago, it's in pending review, should be live soon.
The 2017 version its just using the post processing stack (instead of the standard assets for camera), with an updated LUT for 2017 and an additional fog particles. The assets are the same.
Update v3.4 for Unity 2017.3.1+ is live!
There was an issues with the review process queue. We reached Unity support and the issue has been fixed.
Thanks team. great news for today
Hey @Justwo I purchased this asset on cgtrader. I wonder when would it be updated there to this newest version 3.4.
I will updated it today.
Have someone creating a game or exampel with that asset i love the style of that asset but it is hard to find character, animals or enemys for that style of that great asset.so my question what character use you for that asset, and for what type of game use you that asset , 1st person, third person, or topDown???
Is it possibel that we get a snow asset package from that asset, so as second asset ? Or logcabin and more Vegetation. So i will Pay for that New Packs. I love the Updates but i have no problem to Pay for other Packs in that Style.
At the moment we are focusing on finishing the current package and that is a lot of work already so no snow nor other packs will be made anytime soon.
Ok thx for the info.
How long should we wait for the update to the new version ?
which asset controller wise is everybody using with this awesome graphic asset or do you all create your own thirdview controller?!
Don't know it's a lot of work and we are far from finishing it.
JustTwo thanks for the reply. We will wait, good luck in work
Hi Plan to add Monster? and character?
Nothing planned regarding characters/monsters. We want to focus on finishing the environments and buildings first.
Some images to keep you updated with our progress on v3.5
please add a big city
that looks great. do you have an idea when the next update comes? what content has the next update?
No, we don't have a release date set.
The update will focus on modular parts for city building and additional related props.
We will try to keep you updated with our progress.
Thank you to share images from your work in progress.
This Package is really great!!!
Previews look great! Are the overgrown vines on the buildings and light pole modular as well? Meaning: could you plop them on the water tower if you wanted?
Yes, the overgrown vines are separate meshes. Check the images from the previous page. (introduced in update 3.3)
Holy frijole....I have the asset and didn't even notice them
too much good stuff in here!
Keeping you updated with our progress on v3.5. Working on Storefronts variations plus related assets like awnings and signage.
WTF, ive been looking for this exact style town with interiors for months, ive never seen this asset before, i seen it today and i thought i died and went to heaven. Cant wait to buy and try it
Haha, yeah we probably need more exposure.
Glad you like our style but the city/town update is not yet released. Stay tuned for more updates.
What city town update? Theres more?
The one we are currently working on (v3.5).
@Justwo I swear this asset is amazing and getting better all the time.
ohhh, what's the road map look like, what is it adding? my mind is already blown.... i mean, the buildings, but like stores? Apartments? More street props and city props. Vehicals. Geez what could be there? Big buildings? Malls, hospitals, parkades, airports?
Update v3.5 will contain modular buildings with storefronts and additional rooftop props.
No vehicles, malls, hospitals, airports as that will require additional props plus a lot of interior textures and it's more than we can manage at this moment.
Have the New buildings a interior?looks very cool.thumbs up.
Yes of course, it will be similar to the existing assets.
@Justwo , appreciate the hard work updating this awesome package. Any update on possible ETA?
