    The update is almost ready, what's left are some textures that needs a little more work. But unfortunately the project is on hold at the moment, hopefully we can submit it by the end of the month.

    Once you bought it you get all future updates for free but the price might increase as we add more assets. The sooner you buy it the better deal you get.

    For a long time I was looking for it to buy it. Really liking the look of it! May madness :) Well I did bought it and well I will be enjoying it when its put to use :) soon!

    Thank you! I just purchased it and I can't wait to use it on my game. One question - Are you planning to create a surroundead urban city? coz I'm surely going to buy one if you do.

    It's something we have in mind, but if we ever consider doing an Urban city, it will be included in this package, since all assets have shared materials/ models.

    The update is still on hold, but hopefully we can deliver it in a couple of weeks.

    Hey, any plans on adding a character or making a separate character pack with the same style as this pack? I bet people like me that use this pack would like it too!

    Sorry we don't have any plans on adding characters, because that requires animations, rigging probably scripting too we will just stick to what we are good at, creating environments and props.

    You mean the whole SurrounDead Package? Yes, there are 9 scenes, basically everything you see in the screenshots.
    As for the v3.2 Vehicles update, there are no new scenes, you can find the vehicles and parts in the Assets_Preview.unity scene.

    Just watched all the vehicles in the preview scene and everything is great but may i suggest (if i didn't miss it) by making the roof on the buses and vans as a seperate mesh? So that the vehicle can be entered properly from behind with top down view :)

    Hey, do you plan to add characters? i dont care if its even a separated pack.
    or do you have some suggestions which character could fit to your kit?

    Hey I bought this asset from CGTrader. Very Nice asset. Do you plan to add more resources. As that is where its lacking I suppose. Awesome asset.

    Sorry, we don't have any plans on adding characters, we said that before. My suggestion would be to get a character artist to create one for you to meet your needs. I think any hand painted character would fit the style.

    I love the art. Is there any chance that we will see a few parts for city building like office, skyscraper etc?

    Update v3.3 is live!
    Thank you!
    We have 2 more updates planned.
    Update v3.4 will be about roads/streets and related stuff.
    And in update v3.5 we are going to add more modular assets for creating urban buildings, not sure if skyscrapers would fit with our style.

    Hey!
    What I got in resources as of now was -->
    1. wood (4 types)
    2. branch
    3. rope
    4. metal
    5.planks
    6. Rocks

    What more we can have?

    1. cloth
    2. animal leather
    3.tape
    4. nails /bolts
    5. adhesive
    6. seeds
    7. wires (for electrical things)

    And so many more things.. I wonder if you could give these in low poly and more. or maybe you can suggest some asset which may go with current style cartoonish low poly !

    I see, we made only primary resources we didn't want to go that deep, as different games requires different items and we can't cover it all. We will consider it for our next update. Sorry I don't know any assets that fit your needs, probably anything low poly and handpainted will work, as these are small items.

    Can you add matcap shader for this asset of yours so unity dont need to calculate the lighting?

    i mean baked texture which already has lighting information, using unity's legacy lightmap shader by default. this should be performance friendly cause then no need of unity to calculate the lighting.

    Performance is something that should be done by each developer individual based on their own game, we are just providing the assets in a modular manner so we can't bake models and textures.

    just a reminder for others that models doesn't have 2nd uv channel so you need manually set "Generate lightmap Uv" to each fbx model.Othersize you will get unwanted lightmap after baking .

    This asset is really beautifully crafted! Anyone on the fence, don't be. It's really great.

    I saw the message above about an urban-city-style update, and that sounds awesome.. (for that, I would buy it all over again if I could!)

    This asset is really beautiful.

    I am having troubles with the demo scenes. The Cameras have a missing script attached an there is a warning: The referenced script on this Behaviour (Game Object '_Camera_Atmospheric') is missing!

    Can you help me please?

    The Standard assets and the post processing stack are installed.
    Unity is Version 2018.2.7

    Hello,
    If you are having trouble withe the demo scene Atmospheric then the missing script is the Post Processing Stack which must have attached the profile named "Post Processing AtmosphericScene". For all the other demo scenes the profile is named "SurrounDead Post Processing Profile". Also restart Unity after importing the Standard and Post processing packages.

    Thank you, i got it now. I have to use the Post Processing Stack from the asset store and not from the package manager. Thanks for your help!

    I saw you have 2 more updates planned. Do you enjoy giving away all this for free? Seriously I bought the first version and it was worth it...... I feel like I am stealing fro you....

    We felt that the package was incomplete, some textures are atlasted and some of them have empty spaces for future updates, things get renamed, moved, updated often also the demo scene looks best as a whole, plus it's inconvenient for us to split up the assets in different packages.
    We want to give everyone that bought the package early on and supported us some great new assets as we promised. Also we hate payed DLCs.


    P.S. If you feel that guilty we can always share with you our paypal address..... Just kidding, have fun stealing for the next updates!

    I picked up SurroundDead a while ago and just took a peek at it in Unity for the first time. It looks really nice, big fan of the art-style.

    I noticed the road tiles do not seem to match. Here is a screenshot in case you want to take a look...

    Hello, thank you for buying and glad you like it!

    You are right the road tiles do not seem match right, what you can do to reduce that is to rotate the road_straight on the ends, 180 degree but you will still be left with seams on the S shape.

    Honestly the road was more like a bonus, we made a few pieces to help us build the scene and didn't focus too much on it.

    Right now we are working on a complete rework for the roads and this one will be completely replaced.
