Are auto-renewing subscriptions supported by the receipt validation in Economy? I was not able to find any documentation about this. Since subscriptions renew and would require re-validation, is this handled anywhere? Handling subscriptions with all use cases would also require supporting user pausing, grace and billing retry periods, usually sent and updated via webhooks by the App Stores.
Hi there, Thanks for post. Economy doesn't currently provide a mechanism for recording and validating subscription renewal receipts as they occur outside of the game play session. However, it is somthing that we are aware of and may consider for the future as we expand the capabilities of Unity Gaming Services. Thanks for you input, Laurie
Thank you for your reply! I am a bit relieved that my work for a server-side validation platform (link) including subscription products was not for nothing, then. Still looking forward to use Economy for non-subscription products, and eventually subscriptions in the future.
