    Hi everyone,
We've been re-skinning this app for IOS: http://www.chupamobile.com/unity-full-games/3d-endless-runner-reskin-unity-3103 and the code is quite old and doesn't have 64 bit support.

Also, we downloaded Unity 4.6 a couple of weeks ago and had terrible problems with it - it didn't save changes properly and some features that used to work started malfunctioning etc, so we went back to 4.5.5 for the time being.

My questions are - does the current Unity version support 64 bit, and what can I do to avoid the problems I experienced with saving changes etc, and are any of you familiar with this particular game and know what I need to do to be able to upload more re-skins after the end of Febraury.

There is a beta version of Unity 4.6.1 that supports 64-bit (required for submission to Apple after February 1). If you look in the Platforms/iOS forum here, there's a thread at the top about it, including a download link to the beta.

Firstly I think you got ripped off for the price of that template, you can get better on asset store.
Second there is nothing wrong with version 4.6.1, its just old template you are using.
So you will need to upgrade anyway to 64bit version Unity.
    Just my thoughts.

The save issue is a bug that we have fixed in the latest patch, the other issues you mention as malfunctioning is too vague for me to give an accurate answer so it could be the template you are working with.

Do you mean 64bit editor or 64bit iOS deployment?

There is an open beta of iOS 64bit http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/4-6-ios-64-bit-beta.290551/
The full release is not far off.

As for the 64bit Editor, that's coming with 5.0
