Resolved support for 2d sprites?

    Hi there

    Currently DOTS dont support use of sprites out of box, experienced folks have built their own systems for rendering sprites. Is there any near future plans for supporting sprites officially?

    Unfortunately, 2D rendering is currently not on the announced roadmap, so it's not likely for it to be supported in the near future.

    I would recommend to submit feedback about 2D rendering on our public roadmap at https://unity.com/roadmap/unity-platform/dots. Official feedback is a good way to increase the priority of 2D rendering for future DOTS planning.
