When I use the profiler it shows EditorOverhead super high. Some times up past 90%.

How do I figure out whats causing it?
Hitting the Profile editor button doesn't seem to do anything.

    Unity Version: 2017.3.1p1

Is this still happening for you on 2018.1?

I am having this problem on 2018.1 and it seems to say in issue tracker it was fixed in 2018.2.0a2, which means I likely won't see a fix for a while.

It is actually fine for me on 2017.3.1f1, which is the version my project is currently on.

I have a barebones 2D project in 2018.1.0f2 and I get constant framerate drops well under 60fps, every 1-2 seconds. Otherwise it's 150fps or more. Frustrating. Gonna stick with 2017.3.1f1

    I use p1. f1 is different.

But ya I'm still on the same version.
I just built a new computer. Idk if that will matter or not.
