    It should work on a point light if you change the Range and sample blur distance. I'll take a look at this soon and make a post with the settings needed for it. I think it will work easier on a spotlight.

    I am not sure if this asset will get up to Asset Store (get accepted - they might find it too easy after they found SurvivalEngine too easy ._.). But if it goes on there, it'll be only 10$ as well! :)

    @MinhDao it works with very high FPS rate on mobile, actually it is optimized specifically to work both on mobile and PC platforms.

    @khos85 Your game looks very nice and I'm glad that it's becoming a success! I'd really appreciate if you gave me credits for the work even though I wouldn't force you to as you've already bought the asset! :) Of course I love the idea of you giving my name to people, that'd be appreciated by me alot! Thank you for letting me know this.

And if you purchase it from the site and it comes up on asset store after you purchase it from the site, I'll contact Asset Store managers to ask for a download key that I'll send to you and other customers who got this on PayLoadz (the site).     Here is the tutorial video, you can also see the performance there.
    On a Intel HD 4000 with highest quality and decent big map, I get full 50+ FPS constantly, which means that this is working perfectly. But of course, I'll try and make a video where I got the FPS counter on too :)

    This went even quicker! Now uploading to asset store, I'll probably have an answer by the Staff in a week. :) Don't forget that if you purchase it now from PayLoadz, you won't lose any features or updates - you'll get the same quality!

    Oh, I don't have it yet, but since it will work with point and spot lights, I feel encouraged that I will be able to find a role for the effect in my game.

    I'm waiting till it arrives in the asset store. I've picked up stuff from private stores before, but it gets burdensome when it comes to keeping track of assets and keeping things up to date. Also, I find private stores are in general less responsive when it comes to customer service. So Unity's one-stop shopping is the preferred way to go, at least for me. :)

    Thank you for your kind comments until now even though you haven't purchased it, I really can't find words to tell you how much I appreciate!

    Please do not be afraid of purchasing via private store (PayLoadz), I know that some asset creators just vanish after a time but I never do like that, because I'm planning on creating more and more assets. You'll receive the same support by me, no matter if you purchase via Asset Store or PayLoadz so please do not be afraid of anything like that! :)

    I just buy your Asset, and it doesn't work on WindowsPhone, I have a PINK screen.
    1-2 FPS on my Android device.
    I don't know what it's "wrak_budova", but it's missing.

    The pink texture means that some textures are missing. I'll update the link now and edit this post when I'm done updating.

    That works on Android, but not on WindowsPhone, it's the same project, so the texture is not missing.
    It's your shader who doesn't work on WindowsPhone, I am trying to understand why, but for moment I don't find a solution.
    If I change the shader for SS_SunShafts, I can see something on my WindowsPhone screen, in white and black :D

    Oh ok, so it's fine on your Android phone but not Windows Phone? Hmm, that's very weird. I'll inform you when the new link is uploaded (which is almost done), there was anyway a new update as bug fixes so it was good that I updated.

    I have the same issue with your last release.
    I confirm it's a Shader problem, if I replace your SykooShafts/SS_Shader by Mobile/Particles/Additive or Particles/Additive that works, but very bad effect.

    On WindowsPhone, FOG doesn't work, I think the problem is you use fog.
    I tried to remove FOG from your shader, but I still continue to have a pink screen.

    I don't think that the main problem is FOG, though it could be.
    I'll make sure to check out common bugs and errors on Unity Windows Phones, I'll try and fix
    a seperate shader for only Windows Phone, though this is mostly the optimized version of only working
    sun shafts I could write down :/

    But I promise I'll try and fix it asap! :) Thank you once more for your purchase, I'm so sorry you're suffering by this bug. But are you using Android otherwise to build your game towards?

    On my Android phone, my frame per second drop from 34 to 7 with your script on my Camera.
    Very bad performance.

    What phone do you have, and do you have any other camera effects / general effects that may reduce the performance? I was able to run a game on 25-30 FPS when I had some other effects and Sykoo Shafts running and I have an S4. I'll try to improve the performance for mobile and make a specific package just for mobile (it will come in the same package as normal one). Thank you for your feedback :)

    Either Asset Store bugged out or something else ._. It literally said that my asset was yet not published by me for review, but it was on draft... What the....
    Anyway, I now submitted (for a second time) to Asset Store - let's hope that this time it goes well and it gets accepted! ._. Don't forget that you can purchase also from PayLoadz by clicking here in order to get the same asset for same price, with all the same features including free updates in the feature! :)

    I can understand your confusion. It's not the "exact same script". The script (CSharp) is made up by me, both structurally and programatically in terms of method. The similarity may be caused due to the same method being used. As we're on Unity Free, there aren't alot of ways to create post-processing effects while holding the performance on a rich level.

    However the shader is a bit by his one. I did PM PhantomKnight and told him that I can delete the Shader and make one of my very own if he wishes to. The current shader is pretty much 40% mine I guess you could say. If PhantomKnight would like me to delete the Shader and replace it by one of my own that is 100% mine (even though I guess he does not own any copyright infragments for the shader file), I'll still do it in order to respect the creator. If credits are wanted, I'll give that as well.

    In simple words:
    The C# script following in the asset is mine from top-to-bot. The shader is pretty much half mine, rest is inspired but still rewritten by PhantomKnight's shader. :)
    Thank you for taking that up, I was wanting to write it down but did not know where I should begin.

    PS: Yet there is not answer from PhantomKnight.

    For me your script it's the same than PhantomKnight, same method, same attribut, same structure.
    At no time you put a link on PhantomKnight topic, otherwise I wouldn't bought your Asset.

    This is plagiarism, you don't use the principle.

    I think you misunderstand the meaning behind plagiarism. Plagiarism is when you steal someones work without them knowing it, and then you take full credits for the work that "you've done". In my case, I let PhantomKnight know that the shader was a part of his shader, and if he requested me to delete it, credit him or change it with my own - I'd do it straight away - no questions!

    So in this case, I'm using my work (the script) and half of something that has been done before, yet I credit that person (even if they do not own the content rights), and give them full responsibility about what will happen to the asset (as I mentioned before, if he requests deletion or change, I'll do it). Basically, I published my own work with a part of his work into the public which got appreciated, and yet I have not heard anything negative by PhantomKnight. But I do agree that the shader (which is half his work) will be reworked completely once again (even the part that I came up with), and it'll be completely my work instead of being 95%.

    Once again, in order to skip any confusion:
    The asset work is completely mine except for a part of the shader. I had to use the same method because it's almost like the only option available in order to make the asset as performance-rich as possible. It's like saying everyone who makes FPS games are copying/stealing from someone else.

    I appreciate your purchase and I hope you'll have great times and projects developed with Sykoo Shafts. But please, do not use harsh words like plagiarism without any knowledge what's behind the wall, it's not very nice to be called for a thief for nothing.

    Just to note once more, I'll rework the shader completely, I'm just trying to find a way to maintain stabilization and performance.

    Hi Sykoo, I for one like your asset very much, I am glad you made it available.
    I mean sunshafts in Unity Free ! WOW, now we do not need Unity Pro anymore :) Which for me is the main goal.
    I suppose everyone has a right to voice their opinion but should also do more research before saying something, try be a bit more tactful/factual/certain before using such words.

    Yes, I did not really feel offended by what menfou wrote because, as you also stated, he just said his opinion. However he could have been looking further into the topic before calling for plagiarism, it could be meant to be very harsh. But I still appreciate that he took up the topic because it was something that I wanted to talk about for a while :) Thank you once more, Khos, for all of your support even now!     The only difference between your script and PhantomKnight's script are :
    bool inangle=false; VS bool ang = false;
    bool Casted = false; VS bool boool=false;
    Everything else are exactly the same.

    I never sold it before the agreement of PhantomKnight, and PhantomKnight came for the last time in June 2013.

    I hope only you will find a solution for WindowsPhone ;) , and a agreement from PhantomKnight.

    Practically and technically, I wrote the script with my own taste. Obviously, there'll be similarities, but I can assure you that everything is my own work as for the script :)
    And the similarities are due to the same method being used for creating the shafts.

    I did not quite get what you mean with "I never sold it before the agreement". What agreement are you talking about exactly, may I ask? Also, it's not a personal problem that PhantomKnight have not been on since 2013. If this asset was, as you're stating, a "thievery product", it'd definitely make PhantomKnight aware of that even if he does not check this. I mean he would've gotten contacted by someone at least.

    I will try my best to make this work on Windows Phone, as I assure you I will. Because I want this asset to be on a variety of platforms, and work smoothly on every single one of them. That's a high-quality customer support-ship that I want to achieve :)

    I am technically not in need of an agreement, as the job is done by me. And I already stated that I'll rework the shader completely, both programatically and structurally, yet withhold the performance.

    Sykoo Shafts has been declined from Asset Store due to no tutorial (video or PDF) was in the package (there was a video though). Also, the key images has to be reworked apparently, which means tons of work and another couple of weeks to wait before I get another answer.

    Do not attempt to sell this asset unless you have permission and own the code. It will also get blocked on asset store.
