Resolved Suggestions on fixing long VS2019 'Attach to unity' time

Hi - am a total beginner at this, and am totally stumped by something that's just started happening.

The attach to unity button worked just fine up until last night, i.e. I could set debug mode in unity, attach to unity in visual studio, and it would take a second or two and be ready to run.

For some reason though, it's now taking a very long time, VS goes non responsive for like 5-10 minutes.

Any ideas on why this might be the case? Or what I can do to diagnose / fix?

 

Update: I reinstalled unity / VS2019 and this resolved my issue!
