    Hello.

    I installed UnityHub 0.18.1
This is a wonderful application perfect for my job.

    I have one proposal.

I am working on Unity for many console platforms.
In order to identify Unity for those specific platforms, can you add functionality to change the name of the installation to any name?
I would be pleased if you would consider it.

    Best Regards.

    Hi,

Thank you for your praise and suggestion! Unfortunately, we don't have plans to rename a Unity release right now. That said, it will be easier to identify which platforms were added to each release in the near future. Also, the Hub will automatically open projects with the version of Unity it was created in.

I hope this helps! Let us know if there's anything else.

    Cheers,

    Thank you for your answer.

However, my purpose is not to open different projects with different versions of Unity.
I am developing middleware for Unity.
Therefore, there are many opportunities to open the same project from different versions of Unity.
In that case, since Unity for the console platform can not be identified with just the version number, there is a certain difficulty in handling operations on the UnityHub.

I would be pleased if you consider.

    Thanks.

I see. We will try to make that easier for you.

Also one last thing, are you aware of the "Advanced Open" feature? If you click on the options button on the right-hand-side of a project you can select a specific build platform to open your project with. This may help you until we figure out a better solution.

    Thanks again for responding,
