suggest some Indie Side Scroller game please :)

Can you guys suggest some Side Scroller game made by indie developers please?

Did not want to post these here but what place is better for this question than this place, a place full of eager indie game developers who love games?

 

Really is not easy know if the developer of a game is a indie or not.

 

Go to Steam or desura and search for platform game, side scrolling whatever. If you meant mobil then search those app stores.

Each one of these titles have variety of mechanics and gameplay, and there are some that are pure platformers. Some of these might not be Indie, maybe one or two, but this is the list of the Indie 2d Platformers that I may have played, read about, help fund, and or just saw on Steam/Desura (but still have knowledge on them).

I would like to suggest each and every one of these games to you.

 

.GEARS is certainly not an AAA team. Flappy Birds certainly fits the definition of side scroller. And in terms of development effort in to revenue out its probably one of the most successful games of all time.

World of Goo has side scrolling.

 

Also be sure to check out the Showcase forum on this site. You will find many such games in there. Then check out WIP forum to see the ones people are currently developing.

Those two forums are probably your best source of Indy games created with Unity.

Make it have your good wizard follow behind you, auto killing an enemy with a fireball once every 10 seconds or so... while you deal the real damage with your sword!! YEAH!!!! Infiltrate the mountain fortress! Fight death itself!!! OMG /nerdgasm
