When using subtractive mixed lighting for a scene, my terrain appears to be only partially baked, or sometimes it switched to complete black. This happens in both the editor with lighting enabled, and in play mode. Everything else looks like it should and works like it should, but the terrain (Unity's built-in terrain) just doesn't want to appear baked.

Is there any setting in particular that could affect this, or could this be a bug? Everything else works, so I have trouble tracking down what could make the terrain behave this way. Any ideas?

I'm on the latest version of Unity 2021, and use deferred rendering.

Okay, this is a bug. It works with forward but not deferred rendering.

It does sound like a bug. Please report it so that light transport team could take a look.
