Question Stuck at "Register Scripts"

    Hello,

    I'm an inexperienced developer and I was trying to set up Unity version control with my project today. I set up my account on Unity gaming services (I think), turned on cloud on my Unity Editor and then I saved and closed the project. Next time I tried to load up I realized that it gets stuck on "Register Scripts". I don't know if I messed up any settings, the documentation about Unity version control is either outdated or missing. Please help, I don't know how to revert the setting on my project.

    Edit: I also moved folders and files around inside Unity Editor before saving and closing the project.

    Is the Console tab in the editor showing errors?

    I can't open up the project, it's stuck in splash screen.

    I migrated the project to a newer Unity version and I restarted the computer and the problem somehow went away.
