Question Stuck at "Installing, please wait..."

    I had accelerator already installed previously but it stopped working so I decided to reinstall it, but I made a mistake, instead of uninstalling it properly I just deleted the accelerator folders. Now I'm trying to re-install it by running the installer file again, and the green bar fills up about 1/3 of the way very quickly, and then it just gets stuck there forever unable to continue.

    I've restarted the PC and made sure to delete all Accelerator folders still hanging around that I could find.

    Any other ideas?

    Figured it out after going through procmon64 to see what it was doing

    I had to delete a key in the registry, i.e.

    HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\2135a89b-9c4f-5ed2-a753-7de4f9bc453f


    my guess is since this key exists, the installer thinks accelerator is already installed, and tries to run the Uninstaller, but since it couldn't find the Uninstaller, it just gets stuck
