Struggling on making a 2.5D game.

My level of understanding in unity isn't that great as i only know about simple variables, statements and using void so i want to make a game to learn how to program and such.

Currently i'm trying to create an 2.5D environment where the character you play as move around the map, the problem is i don't really know how to make the sprite look up, down, left and right because it's 2.5D so rotating it wouldn't help.

Any help would be appreciated
