Strange texture filtering on Kindle Fire HD 7"

    Hi there,

    We're working on an Android version of our game, and we've got a very strange problem on the Kindle Fire HD 7. We're finding that certain textures (our lightmap, in this case) give the impression of being point filtered on the 7, even though they're set to Bilinear, and are fine on every other device we've tried (including the Kindle Fire HD 8.9).

    I've attached a couple of images showing the problem. The first is the image on the Kindle 7, the second is exactly the same build running on the Kindle 8.9. I'm fairly sure it's the filtering going wrong, since if I set the texture to Point Filtered on PC I get the same effect.

    If it's relevant, I'm using the "ECT1 or RGBA16" compression mode.

    Is there any reason why that particular device would use point filtering?
