Stop unity purchasing from updating

    Please, how do I stop unity from updating com.unity.purchasing every single time I open the editor? I don't need an update and it keeps breaking everything until I manually change the version back. Make it stop.

    Please describe steps to reproduce. Please show a screenshot. What version are you using? The latest is 4.0.3 and is the version you want to be using. You upgrade IAP from Package Manager (only), do not click any Import or Upgrade buttons on the Service window. After you successfully upgrade, ensure to delete /Assets/Plugins/UnityPurchasing. Always make a full project backup before doing any major upgrades.

    It seems the thread has been moved from the Package Manager subforum where it should belong. Packages are being auto-updated not only after editor version change, but any time the project is loaded. Then I have to go and manually revert changes on manifest.json. This has been going on for months and it's really annoying. The proposed solution in package manager troubleshooting section is also ridiculous considering it has to be done every time the project is opened.
