    Hi there,

Just wondering if there's a way to stop the Unity Hub window from opening on startup?
The top menu icon is handy but the window opening up is getting annoying to close all the time.
I'm on macOS Big Sur, any help would be great. I can't seem to find any options about this.

    Thanks,
    Pete

Just wanted to share that the Hub does not autostart with Windows sign-in.

sorry but I don't understand your reply.

I am now on macOS Monterey and I face the same as petey.
When booting my mac and logging in (adding a login item for my user and also setting the hide flag) or even with any terminal command like
    open -g "/Applications/Unity Hub.app"
    open -j "/Applications/Unity Hub.app"
the hub shows up in the menu bar, which is fine, but it opens also the unity hub window and focuses it... so i lose my focus on startup while im typing already something in safari for example...

there are no options in unity hub for auto-start, even in the beta version. i don't understand this, all hubs i use have a proper feature like that: adobe, jetbrains, stream deck. they start when booting the mac, show up in the menu bar and none of them is opening/focusing their window by default...

I think now is not possible anymore. 2024 hub 3.7
There was a toggle on preferences not to autostart autoload on Windows start.
But it looks like there are no more options.
