When I select or have selected a serialized field in a serializable object in an array on a component and I scroll up or down, the value is copied to the next or previous object's field.

This is horrible from my perspective, on the level of Microsoft helpful, that is, deliberately destructive to my entered data, and a colossal waste of time as I only just realized it was happening.

Every time I scroll up or down my array, I have to make doubly sure that no field is selected, otherwise the field data is copied willy-nilly to random fields of other items in the array. This drastically increases my time to input the data.

How is this helpful? How do I stop this insane behavior?

That's not the intended behaviour. Perhaps it's a peripheral issue? Does your mouse's brand have any software used to configure the mouse's inputs?

Cheers, thanks for the answer. It is just a cheap mouse, never noticed the issue before. Might be the new laptop
