Stereoscopic Rendering option?

    Hey,

    I searched for an explanation to what this is/does, but the release notes don't explain, neither is there any official post about this feature. Could someone explain what this is?

    I mean the checkbox option under Player Settings > Other Settings.

    So it's a solution for passive stereoscopy? I had emailed UT about QuadBuffer support and I was informed that it's in the plans, is there any estimate to when this will be looked into? Currently it's tough to run Unity projects in CAVE systems, for instance... We currently have to hijack Unity's draw calls, which impacts performance.

    I suppose you're talking about OpenGL? It's currently in the works, but I don't have the timeline for it.

    Hi, I tried to use this Stereoscopic Rendering feature, but I could not make it work.

    There was a web page on Unity official website (unity3d.com) showed the requirements, but this web page no longer exists. The minimum requirements are:
    - Windows 8.1.
    - Unity Pro 4.5.
    - Graphic card that supports Direct X 11.

    I have all requirements, but I cannot see the stereoscopic rendering. On the same system I am able to see stereoscopic rendering with EON Studio 8 and 3D DLP projector (I just need to activate the EON Studio Quadbuffer feature).

    Do you have any documentation or tutorial about the Stereoscopic Rendering feature? How to make it work?
