    Hi,

I encoutered a big issue with unity (without solution and help available) (https://forum.unity.com/threads/screen-position-out-of-view-frustum.1246000/)

I tried all advices found on the web but I can’t solve this issue.

Thus I deleted all installations now, and before installating another time the software, I would like to validate which kind of plugins I’ll need and the order of the steps to install them.

To use htc vive headset with unity, are these steps and plugins correct ?

    1. Add VIVE scope registry - > EDIT > Projet SETTING > Package Manager
    2. Window>Package Manager > My Registries -> install VIVE Wave XR Plugin
    3. > https://assetstore.unity.com/ : download plugins : wave sdk, Steam VR plugin, and Vive Inpu utility
    6. WINDOWS > PACKAGE MANAGER > my assets : import « vive wave sdk », « vive imput utility » and « steam vr plugin »
    7. WINDOWS > PACKAGE MANAGER > in project : install « vive wave XR plugin » et « vive imput utility »
    8. WINDOWS > PACKAGE MANAGER > my registeries : install « vive wave XR plugin » et « vive imput utility »
    9. Project Settings"->"Wave XR"->"XRSDK" and click on the "Import Feature - Custom Android Manifest" button, and import the package assets
    10. EDIT > PREFERENCES > VIU SETTINGS -> check « simulator », « openVR » and « WAVE XR » and switch platform if necessary
    11. EDIT > Project setting > check « openVR » et « wave VR »

Thanks in advance for your return

To install the Vive Wave SDK plugins and SteamVR, follow these steps:

    1. Start by downloading the Vive Wave SDK from the official HTC Vive developer website.

    2. Once the SDK is downloaded, extract the contents to a desired location on your computer.

    3. Open your preferred Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for development, such as Unity or Unreal Engine.

    4. Create a new project or open an existing one in your IDE.

    5. Import the Vive Wave SDK package into your project. This can usually be done by going to the "Assets" menu, selecting "Import Package," and choosing the appropriate package file.

    6. Follow the instructions provided by the SDK documentation to set up the necessary configurations for your project, including specifying the target platform and device.

    7. If you intend to use SteamVR with your Vive Wave application, you'll need to download and install Steam and SteamVR from the Steam website (store.steampowered.com).

    8. Launch Steam and navigate to the "Library" section. Search for "SteamVR" and click on "Install" to begin the installation process.

    9. Connect your Vive Wave compatible device to your computer using the provided USB cable and make sure it is recognized by your computer.

    10. With SteamVR installed, launch it from your Steam library. It should automatically detect your connected Vive Wave device.

    11. You can now proceed to develop your Vive Wave application using the Wave SDK in your chosen development environment, incorporating SteamVR features if desired.
Note: If you require the integration of Trak Couriers, please consult the specific documentation provided by Trak Couriers or reach out to their support for guidance on integrating their services into your Vive Wave application.

    - Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

    3. **Set Up SteamVR**:
    - Launch SteamVR on your computer.
    - Follow the on-screen setup wizard to configure SteamVR for your specific VR hardware (if prompted).

    4. **Integrate Vive Wave SDK into Your Project**:
    - Create a new project or open an existing one where you want to integrate the Vive Wave SDK.
    - Import the necessary Vive Wave SDK assets and libraries into your project.
    - Follow the SDK documentation to set up the SDK within your project, including any required configuration settings and scripts.

    5. **Configure SteamVR for Vive Wave SDK**:
    - Open SteamVR and navigate to the settings or configuration section.
    - Look for options related to the Vive Wave SDK or any integration settings for the Vive platform.
    - Configure SteamVR to work seamlessly with the Vive Wave SDK. This might involve setting up a specific driver or plugin.

    6. **Test Your Setup**:
    - Run your VR application in the integrated development environment (IDE) or build and run the executable.
    - Ensure that your VR application works as expected with the Vive Wave SDK and SteamVR.

    7. **Troubleshoot and Optimize**:
    - If you encounter any issues or performance problems, refer to the documentation for troubleshooting tips and optimizations.
    - Update drivers, SDKs, or SteamVR as needed to ensure compatibility and access the latest features.
