Question State Machine Inside a Blendtree

    I have several running and strafing animations where I want to be able to have transitional logic between strafe left forward and strafe left back. This would allow me to switch between the two animations with transitional logic and continue on with the blending.

    Any ideas on how to achieve this kind of thing? The blendtree helps with the foot phase/pose matching and the transitions help with having correct hip movement and leg cross over logic. Blending all of these these animations looks unrealistic and not blending them creates mismatches in animation syncronization.
