Starship Cooperative Game

    I started to prototype my idea for a cooperative starship game.

    Players need to work together to control the ship. There will be different stations/views - Captain, Helm, Tactical, Engineering.

    I started working on the Tactical screen... check it out. Unity is so much fun!

    I love the idea! At least now I don't have to do it myself :) I'll keep watching this project, see where it goes.

    Hey Guys.... check it out!
    (wayyyyyy rough... just just just starting)

    Multiplayer is just being started... but you can fly yourself and shoot aliens...

    Use: W, A, S, D to turn...
    +/- to set speed

    Click on enemies to target...
    Click to lock... then fire.

    Idea is that players will split the work of Helm and Tactical.. (soon)

    Hey Everyone! Put in an update... 2 people can operate the same ship... choose the medium size one... (you will be steering) and the other person can join tactical...

    You can play with this if you have two computers or maybe 2 browsers....

    I like this idea a lot. I've had it myself a couple of times, but deemed it too difficult for a one-man team, so I hope you do well.

    The coding so far hasn't been the big task... what's next is... well "What's next"... once you get your ship...

    I've emailed some friends and people on here... I'm open to ideas and suggestions...

    Persistent data with sql next :D Add ship parts and power ups, that players can then collect off destroyed ships. Modular based ships so they can just keep growing.

    Msg me if you need help with that, I have worked on a space game prototype that does just that, as well as my persistent data layer with my game Dungeon Fighter. Looks great so far. keep it up!
