SSave is a FREE auto-save tool for your editor. This asset helps prevent your data from being loss during a crash. It saves after a specific amount of time that can range from 1 to 10 minutes, but since this is open source you can easily customize it to fit your needs. It also saves whenever you play your game in the editor.
It includes time stamps that prints a log in the console showing the time when it saved, this can be disabled in the editor.
Most importantly it includes a backup scene option. With this option, every time it saves it also creates a backup scene with the same name but only adds "_Backup" to the name. This can be disabled/enabled.
I have included a save button if you ever need the peace of mind that a backup scene is made.

Note - It is not recommended to change your system time while the SSave window is open in the editor.

Download here - Don't forget to read the super important stuff below!

    SUPER IMPORTANT STUFF
***This asset only works if the window is open. To open the window, find tools in the editor toolbar and press SSave.

Did you read the super important stuff above?

It does not have to be constantly viewed to work, it just has to be in the editor somewhere, for example you can have the console open.
