I am newer to Unity and am interested in making a 2d 8 or 16 bit graphic game. I have a couple of sprite sheets made up that were created in Photoshop and was wondering if there was any way to import them into unity as a single sprite sheet. Or do i need to individually cut each sprite out in Photoshop and import them like that in order to animate them.

You can import the PSD itself, then using unity's built in 2D tools you can set them as "sprite" in import options, and then "multiple" on one of the other settings, and then using the sprite editor you can manually (or automatically) separate each individual sprite up - saving you the hassle of separating each up in photoshop.

    Good Luck!
