I haven't found any thread complaning about this, but it's a huge problem for my current project.
I need to set custom pivot point for my sprites near characters' foot. It's something that changes from character to character, but it almost the same for the same character.
In previous versions of Unity, I just set the pivot point position once and copy/paste to all the other frames of the same character. The option to set the pivot point and custom pivot point position are missing in Unity 2018 sprite import settings, so I can't do batches operation to update multiple pivot points. Why it was removed? Will it come back?

    I found a workaround:
    1) Set images sprite mode to multiple.
    2) Make a sprite with all the image
    3) Visually set the pivot point in the Sprite Editor
    3) Set the pivot point in the import setting for all files
    4) Change the sprite mode back to single

Another bump! Why did it need to change?!. I just experienced this after updating to 2018. I have tons of sprites to deal with and on some sprites I just need them to have the pivot at the top or bottom. I used to be able to batch select them and change the pivot point, now I have to individually go into the sprite editor of each one and repeat the same action tens of times. Hope this is added back again, it's an incredible hassle!

Same here. I think it's an unreported bug, because if you set to Multiple, the option shows, but this option has no relevance when you use Multiple.

*BUMP* I also need to be able to set the pivot point on several sprite files at once. Thank you for the work around @joaobsneto

Sorry for the bump. Will try this later as I actually raged quit after updating from 5.3.1f1 to 2017 only to have my precious feature missing.

What I did was just install my old 5.3.1f1 and edit Sprite Pivots in there, copy the Metafiles to 2017 project. Better than having to pick all 30+ frames of one single action and putting the pivot points..
