    Hi All,

Just started working with Unity and learning via a coursera game design course. I am currently working on my capstone project, which will be a 2d platformer. However, I have ran into a serious issue that I am not able to solve. Hope anyone here van help me find the solution.

    Problem
When moving the camera or my player object the camera obviously redraws the object during every update. The problem is that the 'old' drawings are not removed (see attached image).
the old drawings seem to be on the layer furthest away, since it is hidden behind the background art. When moving the camera, the same thing happens to the background and ground sprites. I have started a project from absolute scratch, imported 3 sprites and changed the camera to orthographic and the problem already occurs.

Any thoughts on this are very welcome.

    thanks!

    Hi Torbach78.
Thanks for the advice to look at the camera settings. the clear flags are currently set Depth only. This is also the setting for a previous 2d platformer game we made during the course, but there the issue does not occur. Changing the setting to Skybox, does solve the issue though.

What it does do is introduce a new issue because I am working with 2 camera's to mimic depth in a 2d game.It seems one camera should have skybox and the other depth only.

    thanks
