Sprite.Create() seems to be innacurate on iOS

Among other inconsistencies I have noticed between platforms* the Sprite.Create() seems to behave differently for no reason on iOS.

I'm capturing an image from the webcam which can be cropped and manipulated as a sprite, it works perfectly on the editor, however on the sprite is always smaller than the cropped area, even though the texture I'm passing in and the texture sizes are correct.

I have tested drawing the this texture to the GUI, and its perfectly cropped, the problem is when generating the Sprite.

Anyone has faced this same problem?

*Another platform inconsistency on iOS I have asked about: http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/724925/polygoncollider2d-shape-problem-on-ios.html
