    Hi all,

I'm using Unity 2021.3.14, building an AR app using AR foundation, that comes in at not much over 150mb.
Everything I've seen through searching seems to indicate that to upload a project >150mb to google play, "Split application binary" in the player > other settings must be checked. This hasn't changed anything about the build though and Google Play still complains that the build is over 150mb.

I've also seen some docs on Play Asset Delivery, but haven't implemented anything as everything I've seen just seems to indicate that splitting the application binary should just work and allow for uploading to the Google Play Store.

Does anyone have any additional info on this?

    Thanks!

I'm also having this problem. I have tried building with and without "split application binary" and have not yet found a resulting difference in build size, android studio project structure, or whether Google Play accepts the aab.

I was able to upload my .aab after creating a new scene, "LoadingScene", that immediately transitions to the main menu. This scene must be at build index 0, because only assets in the 0th scene are included in the base APK (which is capped at 150mb). I guess my main menu scene was too large.
