Hello @take10animation, what is this? tutorial? asset? I think I'm interested if it about Spine and Unity.
With this requires the use of Spine PRO or is compatible with Spine Essential?

By the way, I think the video in youtube is not very smooth or is my browser?

    Regards

Hi @Mr.Stein this is a dev kit. The Unity file and Spine files will be included in the package as well as a resource folder containing all the Zombie Rush art in HD. Straight out of the package you will be able to play test the Zombie Rush demo in Unity.

You will then be able to swap the current graphics and animations with your own. This will give you a head start on developing a platformer game instead of starting one from scratch.

The Spine json files are already set up in the Unity file so all you have to do is drag and drop your skeleton and you'll be able to play the game with your own player and enemies. You can also add your own background and music/sounds and you got yourself your very own game. You will also be able to customize the menu to make it match your game.

The current animations for the Zombie Rush demo were created in Spine Pro but pro version is not required for the kit. Essentials is fine too. Simply export the json file of your character and drop it in Unity.

The video is a bit laggy due to the recorder we were using. We are going to use a different recorder to create another video showing more features included with this kit soon.

Thanks for your interest. If you have any other questions please let me know.

    Cheers.

Just to be clear so there is no misunderstanding for people who do not own spine -
Spine Essential is required to legally publish any game (even a free game) using this asset.

The cost of legally using this asset as anything more than an evaluation is $194.00 (without discount) if you do not already own Spine.
So there is no misunderstanding for any folks who don't currently own spine.

New pyro character skin will be added to the Spine/Unity Starter Kit after it goes live. We are going to try and update it at least once a month. All updates will be FREE!

This pyro character here will be available in the game kit as you play through the level you will need to collect a small flame icon in order to play as the pyro. You'll have access to the full working code so you'll be able to swap to your own pyro character.

Below is a list of future updates we already began working on.

    - Several character skins with different weapons.
    - More levels.
    - Full working code to create more levels. (Once character reaches end of level next level will play automatically)
    - More enemies with different death animations.
    - And much more.

Be sure to sign up for latest news and updates.
