The SpeedTree 8 shaders do not receive ambient lighting in URP. Unity 2019.1.3, latest URP package.
Changing ambient lighting has no effect on the materials.
Shaders work as expected on the built in pipeline.

Here is the SpeedTree shaders & parameters -

Does anyone have a solution ?

Hey, so we actually didn't write the URP SpeedTree shader, the Unity team seems to have created this one so it's harder for us to diagnose what may be happening here or a workaround. We'll reach out to Unity and try to find out what's going on and report what we find back to this thread.

Any update on support for URP ? I have an active subscription to the modeler and its truly a shame that I can't use the trees inside Unity properly when working with URP (which is not in preview).

Any news on that? I need to decide if I can use SpeedTree for my project or not.

No. And don't waste any money on them. I've been waiting since January 2019 to use what I spent a 1.000 € on.

Not even today's -70% is worth it.
