Speedtree 2021.2 beta bug

    Hi! Im trying to resurrect my speed tree assets that І was bought year ago.

    so here are 2 bugs:
    1) wind not working. I have wind in scene and turned it on in material but it doesn't move on some trees.
    2) Billboards just not rendered.
    3) LOD on speed tree is bugged if "enabled wind" is turned on, here is a gif:

    I use original Unity shader provided in latest builds. but it seems same.

    Hey, the issue might be because your assets is too old to be compatible with speedtree 8.
    One solution might be to re-export the asset with speed tree 8 if you have the source.

    i have 125 speed trees bought on asset store, they all seems to be speedtree8 shader compatible before move to HDRP. reimport it will be sad story.

    i figured out chage crossfade from speed tree to Crossfade and with disabled animate it can be usable.
    billboard shader also works with LOD billboard mesh but not with "billboard asset" type.

    I have the same bug. Reduce the vertex count of tree solves the problem.
