    Ok, I am still new to game programming, this is the second game I complete, so I feel very proud and accomplished lol I must say tho, the 2D game development tools on Unity make it incredibly easy to make so many things!

    So anyways, is just a normal ship shooter, sort of like invaders, or all those other ship shooting games. I made it sort of like an endless kind of game. It has levels, but all it does is increase difficulty as you go up. I did this game mainly for practicing and learning purposes, and I must say, I learned alot out of this one, even to improvise. I struggled the most on the endless scrolling bg, but somehow I made it lol

    Sprites used are not mine, I got them from http://opengameart.org, but I did made sure to ask if it was ok to use. The license allowed me to use the sprite with no copyright issues, not that I will make any money out of them, but I take copyright seriously. Here is a screencap of in-game:

    Without further ado, here is the link to the game:

    Controls
    W -> Move up
    S -> Move Down
    A -> Move Left
    D -> Move Right
    Right Shift -> Shoot
    Enter/Return -> pause/unpause

    Please try both difficulties from the options menu, and any onions and criticism is very much welcome.

    I will try my luck on 3D development on my next game, although maybe on the future I will stick with 2D, is so awesome to use.

    Cheers :)

    hey guys, thanks a lot for the feedback. I decided to begin uploading my games on Kongregate, so I started with this one. I got good feedback as well and very good suggestions.

    @Mark: You think so? I like that setup too, but one user on Kongregate complained that he is French and his keyboard does not has the same characters as ours(or maybe he meant layout), so I thought that it would be better to change it to arrows instead of WASD.

    Anyways thank you once again guys for feedback :)

    You might want to change the shoot key to something else. Some people will have sticky keys problems.

    HI,

    Good job with the game.
    You should change from WASD to arrows if you can, because indeed French people use AZERTY instead of QWERTY.
    Never use Shift for shooting actions ;)
