    Greetings,

I have released my first Unity title for Android, called Space Chase. It's a free to play slot racer hybrid that lets you upgrade your space ship to help you dodge asteroids. The asteroids get harder and more unpredictable wave after wave.

I would appreciate any feedback you might have.

    Cheers,

Pretty cool! I like the gameplay. i might suggest uploading a small video to the android market page. you'd get more downloads i think. Also i think the rubies come down too fast. i suggest give user an easy chance to pick them up

Thanks for the feedback! I've been looking at making a video and I'm torn between fraps'ing it on PC and setting a camera on my hands playing it on a phone. I think some people don't know how to best control the ship - especially afterburner, so a video showing hand placement would be really useful I think.

I can make the rubies travel slower, but keep in mind that once you get the hang of the patterns you can get 100% of them (although at higher waves it's not possible without tractor beam upgrades).

    Thanks again!

I think what you have to worry about is the draw calls and making sure you have that as low as possible. I know when i played it on my nexus s device I saw some choppiness only when the rubies came down. everything else was smooth. maybe you could reduce the poly count on the ruby. its crazy how much that makes a difference in the game play on phone vs. say a Xoom tablet with Tegra2. The tegra 3 tablets are super fast, but if your building for phone then keep the hardware in mind unless its for tablet only. :)

A video demonstrating how to boost would really help people me thinks too. More exposure the better, I went into my closet and held the camera and touched the tablet on a game i just launched last week called around the rock disc golf. Its not the best, but shows how to flick and aim. something i find people have issues with at first. Maybe you could flash a icon for when boost becomes available? hth
