Audio Sound won't play immediately after Unity splash screen

    I think 2018.3 has a bug. The first sound called after the splash screen will not play. It worked before updating to 2018.3 from 2017 LTS. It works in the Unity preview, but not in the build.

    I've tried several sound files that play fine later in the game but not on my start screen.

    As I said, the looping sound plays fine in the preview, but not in the built game.

    Strange.

    I'm not providing code because I know the code works. Or it works everywhere but immediately after the game starts.
     
  2. If you can reproduce this, you should submit a bug report through Editor/Help/Report a bug.

    Solved it by going to the audiosource and clicking the Play on Awake checkbox ... something I have never had to do before, but it works fine now.
