Sometimes I Need to delete local data to open my game

Hi,

I frequently make android builds to test my game and sometimes I need to delete my local data of the game on the operating system or restart my phone to open the game without a permanent black screen that doesnt allow to continue the game. It occurs on multiple devices that me and my friends have.

This happens with some games of some friends and they don't know too how to fix it.

How can I fix it? Or, Why it happens? Thanks you!

 

What kind of data are you storing/loading?

 

Data of the game like building's upgrades, character stats and resources, etc. All the data is saved on plain text.

 

Have you gotten any logs from your game when this happens? Maybe there is some error when trying to load this data.
