Each asset has a license listed on its page, so check that out on a case-by-case basis. I'm reasonably sure that everything on the Asset Store is good for commercial use, though.

thanks for you reply, but one more question if the assets' publisher is Unity technology, these assets can be use for commercial?cause no info on the asset page,im using Unity free version,it seems like that you can use it for commercial if your make money less than 60000$

Unity Free can only be used by those making less than $100,000 per year. Once you make that you need to buy Unity Pro. This has nothing to do with the asset licenses though.

Unless it specifically says it can't be used for commercial purposes, it can. Unity-chan for example has some rules you need to follow. I think it wasn't allowed for commercial purposes at first, but I skimmed the licence agreement now (don't skim licence agreements), and looks like it is allowed for commercial purposes, if you follow the rules in the licence agreement. Yeah its a big confusing read, but after a couple goes at it you'll figure it out and learn to find what you're looking for fast.

And assets like this Water Tower can be used for commercial purposes. Most can. I think the only condition is that you use Unity stuff (Unity as the publisher), for Unity projects. Not export into UE4 for example. That's what I've been told some time ago.

Ha that would be a riot if they ported a free unity project to unreal marketplace and sold it for money. The unreal marketplace is still a ghost town which is surprising.

Wouldn't be surprised if someone tries. :D
And give it time, Unity still rules even tho its not as fancy as the one we must not speak of here.

IIRC, the license agreements specifically prohibit distributing the packages in the source form ... and they might even restrict usage to within Unity. So while I haven't re-read all those terms, I'm pretty sure that "porting" a free unity project would be a violation of the terms ... besides, it would be a lot of work - so you'd probably be better off creating your own IP if you want to sell something on the marketplace which is not real ;-)

Meh, It didnt stop the scammers from stealing ludum dare and uploading it to the assetstore or stealing someones free FPS code and uploading it to the asset store (as a top paid asset). Or uploading angry bots as a paid game to the appstore.

The market place only has 1 paid complete project right now whereas the asset store has 100s.
