Some 3D models have motion blur for some reasons (Feature or bug?) 2018.1.0b11

    Specs:
Old Intel HD Graphics 5000 1536 Mo
    1,3 GHz Intel Core i5
    4 Go 1600 MHz DDR3
    macOS sierra 10.12.2

It's kinda hard to explain the problem I'm having, I will provide some infos but I will mostly let the picture speaks for itself.

Basically, I made a procedural world script that takes unused world chunk, create a new mesh for It and replace it somewhere else. When the chunk is replaced somewhere else, the chunks takes the motion blur currently applied to the screen and keep it until the chunk is moved again. The chunks are statics object but I don't know if that matters or not.

Edit: You can fix the bug by disabling post processing

If something isn't clear or there's info missing to reproduce this bug, ask some question!

According to the bug-report guidelines, a proper report should come with a project to reproduce the issue.

If you found a bug in Unity, it's recommended to submit a bug-report following the advice given in this document.

Using the bug-reporter seems to be an important step, because it makes sure the report is in Unity Technologies bug-tracking pipeline, has to be processed at some point and you can kind of track if it's fixed. Using the forum is often used to add to a little more attention to a bug-report, but does not replace submitting the bug-report.

It's from advantage to attach a project to the bug-report that UT can use to reproduce the issue and test their fix against. Attaching a video to the bug-report that shows how to reproduce the issue and the issue itself, has been proven useful too.

The easier an issue can be reproduced by QA, the more likely it is to get forwarded to a developer, who might or might not work on a bug-fix for that at some point.

After you submitted the bug-report, you receive a confirmation email with a Case number. UT often asks us to post the Case number in the forum thread, which allows them to find that bug-report if they look at your post.

Following these steps will increase the chance that UT is looking at your issue tremendously.

Could you please submit a bug report with a minimal reproduction project and reply in here with the case #?

i can add that this also happens to me with 2018.b10

Still trying to pin this down. Also this just happens if i go into playmode or start the game with the MotionBlur postprocess enabled, if enable it afterwards its fine.

Also happening here for procedural self created meshes.

Please report a bug if you have time. +1 or me too doesn't count as in Unity land generally many things can give the same apparent issue. So one person might be fixed and the other not...

I waited for 3h and the upload bar wasn't moving. I tried to cancel the upload and try again but the button wasn't letting me click anything and quitting the application wouldn't save my text

    Any idea?

I would try chanting, it is less likely to invoke atheists. Alternatively, try running bug report tool directly from the unity folder - and ensuring it has firewall permissions. There's also a blog post about trimming down builds if that's your issue (to be done on copy of course): https://unity3d.com/unity/qa/bug-reporting

If the repro project is already uploaded somewhere it's fine to just add a link to it in your bug report.
