[SOLVED] You are running a pre-release version of Unity. This requires having a Unity Pro license.

I got this e-mail from Unity asking me to help testing the 5.4 beta version. I have downloaded the 5.4.0b2, installed it and started it. I've also allowed it to pass through my firewall and signed in. Now I am faced with the issue that it doesn't recognize my pro license.

I get this dialog window when I try to open a newly created project:

I have paid a one time fee for Unity and is therefore not a subscriber, don't know if that would be the issue.

    Any suggestions?

I figured it out. I had to activate my pro license in a non-beta edition of Unity on the same machine for the beta edition to read.
