[SOLVED] WheelCollider in wrong location

    I am trying to make a car and I'm having major issues with the wheelcolliders being in the wrong location from the gameobject. I created the car root which has a rigidbody component. I created a child for the car wheel colliders and I added an empty gameobject and added a wheelcollider component.
    For some reason the wheelcollider seems to be 'averaging' the position of the root and the wheelcollider gameobject. I looked everywhere online to look for a fix or an explanation, but I got nothing. Also, if I add a rigidbody to the wheelcollider, it goes back to normal, but the physics stops working altogether.

    Yep, it happened again. I found out why this is happening immediately after I make a forum post about it.

    For anyone else who has this problem, I have a fix. DO NOT scale the root of the car! Leave it as 1, 1, 1. Put the mesh in a child gameobject instead.
