    Salut!

Once I believed that it is 60° horizontally.

Not now already, after I tried to scale the reticle proportionally to window size.

    1) You can change width of the game window and you will notice that actors have the constant height (in pixels). Even when your window have 8:1 ratio, low and broad.

    2) You can change height of the game window and you can see that actors' height is changing accordingly (even when you window is very tall and very narrow). Accordingly to what? I don't know.

So, what is actual FOV of camera?

How can I detect what is angle in degrees or radians the camera sees horizontally and vertically?

And what does mean FOV=60° in the object inspector, in fact?

    Thank you!

The FOV in Unity is the vertical FOV. To get the horizontal FOV you multiply it by the aspect ratio.
