    Hello developers.

    • I am developing android mobile game. now I am integrating unity-IAP with unity3d.

    • I am trying to test google paly purchases using google resperved product Id : "android.test.purchased".

    • When I try to purchase other products Ids I have in the developer console, they work fine, but when I try to purchase test product : "android.test.purchasesd" - I get error message : " Error retreiving information from server [DF-RPC-01]".

    • I don't know what could be the problem.
Note : * I don't have payment method put into my account yet.

    your help is much appriciated.
    Thank you in Advance.

It looks like this may be an error with Google Play. There is a thread in the Google Play Help Forum about that error and there are various suggestions to resolve it. Some people suggest clearing the cache for the Google Play store. Some people have had success after adding a payment method to their account.

Our Manual has a guide for adding products and testing apps in Google Play:

    Hello @ap-unity,

Thank you so much for your reply.
I went through all possible solutions about the issue, the only thing I have not perform yet is adding credit card to my test account.
acctually, I still think it is not necessory in case I want to test static responses from google, because as per google play billing documentation, static responds can be experienced without the need to input credit card details. but again, nothing is more assuring than an acctual try.

I am expecting to have a new credit card issued for me soon, I will be adding it to the account - gave it a try and let you know if it is what was causing the probelm.

    My Regards,
    Rami

I added a valid credit card to my test account, and I managed to complete a successfull test purchase using one of products Ids I have in the developer console, but when I tried to purchase product "android.test.purchased" as consumable I got error from google "[DF-RPC-01]"

I have a suggestion here, I noticed that google send purchase resonses in a seperate intend or thread. I am fine with that, but I guess it would have been more helpful, If unity can also access information available in google purchase intent, I think it will be a link between java and C#. It will help developer like my self who don't want to dig into android underlying java programming, if you know what I mean.

    Thank You,
    Rami

I too am getting DF-RPC-01 when I try to test the static responses. I've tried clearing the cache, adding a payment method, anything I could find to try. I've wasted many hours trying to get it to work. Before I walk away from it and just test my real products, @ramioooz did you ever figure it out? Anyone?

    Hello e_v.

Last time I tried to purchase google static responses product, that was months ago. but It didn't work. I decided not to spend more time on it. I added credit card to the test account. and pursue testing using my own products Ids.

    Wish you best luck.
    Cheers
