   I can't add the statement "using TMPro;" to my scripts even though I have the TextMeshPro package installed.

   Ok, I found my answer here: https://forum.unity.com/threads/cre...ssembly-reference-error.1339658/#post-8459372 I have to create a reference to TextMeshPro.
