[SOLVED]Private vars in inspector

    I just did the Script Basics tutorial http://unity3d.com/support/Tutorials/2 - Scripting Tutorial.pdf and on page 9 it mentions that I can see the private var in the inspector. Where is it? I see the public var but not the private. Thanks!

    You don't see private variables in the inspector. Maybe a typo?!. Change it to a public variable if you want to see it incrementing.

    You do - when you activate "Debug". See attached screenshot.

    How could I forget 'debug'... I'll get my coat!

    ah, right click inspector to change to debug. Thanks!
